Returning to the stage of the beautiful Old Town Hall Theatre in Aylmer is legendary Canadian country musician Al Widmeyer and his All-Star Band. Mr. Widmeyer has been touring and recording with countless artists over the past 4 decades. Mr. Widmeyer is known as being a dependable sideman or a sure-fire way to heat up the stage as an opening act for legends of country music Conway Twitty and George Jones.

Saturday, May 11th ~ doors open @ 7pm & concert starts @ 7:30pm

Mr. Widmeyer will be backed by the 1-2 punch of brothers Paul and Mike Weber who had Top 10 hits in the 1980s including "Two Bits Worth of Hurtin'" and "She's No Lady".

Opening the show will be special guest Brian Abbey, John Allen, and Mike Ethelston of Dixie Flyer fame playing country and blues based tunes to get the toes tappin' and hand clappin'.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.

Proceeds from the night will be donated to the Forest City Velodrome Association.

Calling all dog lovers!

Once again the Kettle Creek Swans are organizing here in Port Stanley at the Legion the Lions Foundation of Canada Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides.

This is a national fundraising walk held in local communities across Canada.

It raises funds to help Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides continue to fulfill its mission of empowering Canadians with disabilities to navigate their world with confidence and independence by providing Dog Guides at no cost to them and supporting each pair in their journey together.

Dog Guides are life-changers, offering independence, confidence, and safety.

Every dollar raised from the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides helps Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides train and match more Dog Guides across 7 programs:

  • Canine Vision
  • Hearing
  • Service
  • Seizure Response
  • Autism Assistance
  • Diabetes Alert
  • Facility Support

This Is A Play You Don't Want To Miss!

We are pleased to bring 'LOOKING', another great and funny play written by Canadian playwright Norm Foster, to the Periscope Playhouse stage this spring.

Val is an O.R. nurse, Andy is in the storage business, Nina is a police officer, and Matt is the host of a morning radio show. They’re middle-aged, single, and looking. Val agrees to meet Andy after answering his personal ad in the newspaper, and Nina and Matt are coaxed into joining their friends for support.
