Reenactors will be on the museum grounds representing the Jacobites, the Army of King James and the Government Forces of the Hanoverians.

Saturday, May 20th & Sunday, May 21st

Speak with the reenactors and learn about Scottish history that resulted in the Highland Clearances sending Scottish settlers to western Elgin County and other places throughout the world.

Museum and Agricultural Centre tours can be had at the usual admission rate of $10/adult and $5/child.   

No food booth will be on site so we suggest bringing a picnic lunch.

A member of the SDPS Parent Council will come to your yard sale asking for a donation of your choice.

All monies raised will be used to purchase classroom technology.

Elgin County Pride is #stthomasproud to partner with The Horton Farmers’ Market and St. Thomas Public Library for a Bottle Drive to benefit creating safe and inclusive Pride events for Elgin County and St. Thomas.

On May 27th representatives from the Rainbow Optimists Club and Elgin County Pride will be onsite at The Horton Farmers’ Market taking collection of bottles returnable to the Beer Store for refund.

The St. Thomas Public Library will also be on hand until 11 am with their button maker and a series of #stthomasproud Pride designs and inclusive reading options to diversify your bookshelf or library request list.
