A brand-new play by Canada’s king of comedy, “My Hero”, a comedy about moving on.

40-year-old Jim Devine has moved back in with his mom … he’s divorced, he’s getting his life back together, its taken some time. 5 Years of time! Well, the clock is running out, things are changing, his mom’s dating the gardener, and Jim has his work cut out for him. A story about change, and love, and new beginnings.

The show will run from June 15 to July 9. 

Tuesdays 2pm, Wednesdays 2pm & 8pm, Thursdays 2pm and 8pm, Fridays 8pm, Saturdays 2pm & 8pm.

Built in 1890, this tiny Rodney Jail is North America's oldest and smallest jail. It measures 15 feet by 18 feet. The building still bares its original steel cell doors, stove, and yellow brick exterior.

Young love, old love, and finding out that what you have is the best thing after all. A comedy about the meaning of home.

SEE ART IN ACTION AS YOU EXPLORE ST. THOMAS

For anyone missing the Annual Railway City Arts Crawl or looking for a way to spend a day outdoors discovering some of the outstanding local sights - circle July.

Discover pop-up events, artisans, local food options, live music, immersive and interactive art in addition to the anticipated creation of new murals around the community for this FREE event July 16th!

But that's not all...

Throughout the month of July, internationally renowned regional artists will be in St. Thomas adding to the already incredible inventory of art around the community. The new installations will include sites along the Whistlestop Trail, Downtown St. Thomas, and long-awaited addition to the St. Thomas Elevated Park.

Watch mural artists Denial, Andrew Lewis, Steph Boutari, Derkz, and Emilie Darlington, and more. Throughout the month residents and visitors are invited to enjoy the process of creation and explore the community boasting an already impressive 40 murals with festivities being scheduled as part of a FREE festival across the City on July 16, 2022.

We have offered the museum grounds to Confederate and Union army reenactors who will be showing life during the American Civil War.  Over 50000 Canadians participated in this conflict and farmers in our area supplied the Union Army through Port Tyrconnell and Lake Erie.

Museum and Agricultural Centre buildings can be toured with the usual museum admission rate of $10/adult and $5/child.  No food booth will be on site so please bring your own picnic lunch. https://backuspagehouse.ca/events/

Pawsitively Elgin (PAWS) is a 100% volunteer-driven organization.  We hold a one-day annual dog festival in the beautiful Springwater Conservation Area.  The festival was created to bring awareness to dog adoption and animal rescues, not just in Elgin County, but across Ontario and Canada.

Come out and see Ontario Dock Dogs in action, Agility Dogs running their courses, and even take the opportunity to give your dog the chance to try all the events that are coming.

Food, Prizes, Draws, Entertainment, Family activities to last the day. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
