Elgin’s Progressive By Nature brand wins at Economic Development Council of Ontario Awards
If the intention of developing a brand is to tell the world who you are, increase community pride and create a consistent message, then it really helps if it’s award winning. Elgin County’s new brand, “Progressive By Nature” and attraction package were both winners under the categories of “Branding” and “Publications” at the EDCO event held February 5th at Toronto’s Eaton Centre Marriot Hotel.

Aylmer, Ontario, January 12, 2009 - Elgin St. Thomas Public Health is thrilled to announce the launch of a new initiative, Active Elgin! Active Elgin is a website and print guide of all sport, recreation and leisure opportunities available within both the City of St. Thomas and County of Elgin. “This initiative will allow people to learn about all the wonderful programs and activities that are offered in the Community,” says Erica Arnett, Health Promoter. The Active Elgin Guide will be included in the January 16th edition of the Elgin County Market. Guides will also be available at local libraries, municipal offices and each of the partnering organizations. All information is also available at www.activeelgin.ca.

Prime time green fees at the London area course are just $40 on weekdays and $45 on weekends.
