Have a blast this March Break getting in touch with all things creative!
The Youth Theatre camp is designed to introduce youths to the magic of theatre while offering them an opportunity to expand their creativity, build self-confidence, exercise their imaginations, and develop teamwork and performance skills in a stimulating and enjoyable environment.

This program consists of a one week session for children aged 8 to 11 years old.
Your week will be filled with explorative exercises, workshops, script writing and collective creation. All of which can be incorporated into your actor’s toolkit. What fun!
You will also participate in production, specialized workshops led by Port Stanley Festival Theatre company members.
Dates: Monday, March 11th - Friday, March 15th
Time: 9am to 4pm
Age of campers: 8 to 11 years old
Cost: $200 plus tax and applicable fees
Please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.
Included is a pizza lunch on Friday.

An end of week presentation will be a show and share of exercises, games, and scene studies/creation, rather than a traditional play performance.
March Break Camp is taught by Brittany Kay, an award winning actress and OCT certified arts educator. She has her BHA from the University of Toronto and Sheridan College joint program in Theatre and Drama Studies. She also has her BEd and MEd with a specialization in Arts Education from OISE at UofT. Brittany has taught for the Paprika Festival, TDSBCreates, YPT, and Roseneath Theatre, and is currently with the Durham District School Board.
