Learn about St. Thomas’ Railway Heritage by taking a guided tour of the historic Canada Southern Station, viewing various railway artifacts and engines at the Elgin County Railway Museum, and taking a stroll through the city’s downtown core to view murals celebrating the railway history of St. Thomas.

Children’s Activities
Bring your little Train Engineer to St. Thomas for A Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine, then drive 10 minutes south to Port Stanley where you can take a ride on the Port Stanley Terminal Rail. This small tourist railway, offers themed rides throughout the year, and can be rented for private parties!

Come out the last week of August and experience everything that the Iron Horse Festival has to offer! This event has something for everyone! Stop by Railway City Brewing company for a tour of the brewery and sample some of their delicious local brew, and finally travel 10 minutes south to the lake-side village of Port Stanley and take a ride on the Port Stanley Terminal Rail.
