Get out and ride! Elgin’s temperate climate lets you enjoy your motorcycle just a little bit longer before you need to put it away for the season.
Our Cruise the Coast map takes you along winding roads by Lake Erie’s shoreline for some of the most scenic vistas to be found in Canada. Leading past spectacular lookouts, lighthouses, wind turbines, and great shopping and dining opportunities, this route will help you experience and explore the pleasures of the back roads of Elgin.
The Talbot Trail which follows part of Highway #3, lets you cruise along the Lake Erie shoreline enjoying a picturesque drive from St. Thomas to Windsor. Follow the Talbot Trail through Elgin County and St. Thomas to discover a vibrant heritage built on the spirit of the early settlers.
The drive takes about 90 minutes without stops, and is over paved roads. Historical places and attractions can be found along or just off of the Talbot Trail.
Plan to spend a day or two along the Talbot Trail, or discover some of Elgin County’s back roads for interesting routes and scenic stops.
